Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
DSHS is working with the IPOne vendor, Public Partnerships LLC (PPL), to implement an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) application for Washington's Individual Providers (IPs) to use for submitting time worked for payment. The 21st Century Cures Act passed by Congress requires states to implement this change by January 1, 2021. IPs who serve clients receiving in-home respite or personal care services from both the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) and the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) are affected by this change.
Starting December 16, 2020, IPs will use the Time4Care™ mobile application (app) from PPL to capture and report the required EVV information. Please watch your mailboxes for important information about this change. You will receive a packet of information from PPL by mid-November, which contains information about the mobile app, training, and more.
